Federation
One of the most active female wrestling and catfight federations in Second Life!
In second life is existing a living and active community for female fighting and wrestling. Several leagues and clubs did join to form the IFFF in second life and provide the community with one of the biggest running series of tournaments and also showing live events on the members sims.
The IFFF sims offer places to arrange tournament fights, arenas and stadiums to plan and do live events and special themed roleplay areas for nearly every taste. All supported by the IFFF member BLD (Blue Lagoon designs) that does create wrestling fight animations and mats and rings and much more for a good roleplay experience.

History of Wrestling leagues in second life
Lat Lovenkraft had a league called ECWL (Erotic Catfight and Wrestling League). The intention was to set up matches for entertainment of spectators. But there was a scoreboard and the fighters got ranked. The system how that was worked out was compicated and the rules have not been made to be simple and easy to use for the majority. But it was a start to get an ongoing ranking with matches counting to this board and be able to have statistics to categorize fighters.
Starting in 2012 as Cokatella, a Divas event manager founded a first group for a league of dice fight matches, called PDCC. It was a small and more privat group league among a smaller group of active wrestler girls. The idea of tourneys, leagues and the open structure was not yet implemented or in the heads of the protagonists.
The rules were complicated and focussed on the taste and ideas of the founder of how a wrestling league should be in her eyes. It was not yet popular for the masses but it started the idea and the development of leagues.
After that the next big thing in the development of open leagues was the Diamond Wrestling League group. It already had a ongoing ranking system and some of the structures that are still used in leagues now. The way the results are published for example and the open challenge match finding structure. It still was not popular and attracted the main part of the community but the crowd liking that concepts and using the group was growing.
Then a european girl started over with a new sim and it was a french partnership that brought up the EAL. A new sim, with several themed wrestling rooms and boxes. Also having walls with fighters data and pictures showing the interested people who is in the league and can be challenged. They took over the free challenge system and results posting in the group. It really was the starter for making leagues popular for the most people in the community. Tho still the Diamond Wrestling League was existing and going. And this time BLD came up into the wrestling community with new mats and also opening a league and holding a few themed short tournaments.
This wild phase of several leagues co-existing and working together was one of the best examples for cooperation for the greater use of the community. The Diamond Wrestling League, EAL and the BLD Female Fighting League did work together and recognized results from each other and the community for open leagues and tourneys kept growing.
Slowly Diamond League did fade and was no longer supported also from founders. And suddenly the EAL was gone as the sim owner disappeared and let the sim be abandoned.
About that time the smaller BLD Female Fighting League still was going on but slow as it was not so popular and known in the community. And one partner of the EAL, Nadialute opened up a very small Island and bringing nicely planed themed tournaments in the open league concept to the community. Those became popular and kept the idea alive and running.
After a while with only BLD and Nadias tournaments a new group of girls made a partnership with a new sim owner in the wrestling scene and opened CATSPAW group and sim and offered a wrestling arena and several small themed places for wrestling. Developing the former EAL sim building concept a bit further and offering the first time big payout of prizes in the tournament for the ranking.
The rules got more and more simple to attract more people and it worked out well as this league was the first attracting people from the whole community. They did successfully two tournaments there.
And then IFFF was founded by one the CATSPAW managers and BLD Female Fighting League. IFFF was the idea to have smaller independent wrestling clubs work together to have a chance to build up a new project without having to get their ideas or plans taken over by the big wrestling clubs out there. The rules got a bit changed only and the tourneys started.
After the first tourneys there came new sim and clubs into IFFF and became official tourney sims. This was on one side a good thing, as IFFF was growing and got more and more popular. The concept worked well for 3 big tourneys and then it slowed down some.
Divas Cup was started then and had a good start with nearly the same concept as IFFF but had a slight but important difference. They had shorter tournaments and planned breaks between two tourneys. This attracted some more people but did not last long as there was no real innovation in the concept as well.
IFFF still was existing and will start with new innovations and a new concept into the next chapter of open league and tournaments.
